Ass Clown of the Week

:::I've never been a big fan of The New Yorker (WAY too uppity, even for me), but I assumed they were a lot classier than this. Guess not! But in their defense, since they are nothing if not raging liberal elitists, I really don't think they meant this in an offensive way. Rather, they want to hold up a mirror to the ridiculousness that the media has made of all the totally untrue and unfounded rumors surrounding the Obamas. Player haters that's all, just player haters. People can't handle his awesomeness and really, that's ok. They're just not used to it. Still, this cover was in bad taste, and just good 'ol fashioned know-nothing stupid. C'MON PEOPLE! Even John McCain called it offensive! This article from Tuesday's NYT goes deeper into the matter: can you even make fun of Barack? It's pretty hard. Again, this is where all that awesomeness comes in. It's not his fault he's the shit!
