:::In what could only be an ode to the Vogue editrix herself, an army of Anna-clones stormed the runway at the Grand Palais for the Fall 2008 Chanel Haute Couture buffet. No, not show; BUFFET. Because it was so absolutely delicious and delectable, I had no choice but to eat it up! The bobbed models strutted in and around a stage design of massive silver tubes that created a ginormous organ as the centerpiece of the show.:::Truly phenomenal, the collection was a mass of heavy wools, tailored tweeds, and pleated chiffons. One of my favorite collections from Karl in the last several seasons, he proved once again that like a Chanel bag, he only gets better with age.
